The Waterfront Innovation Centre consists of two towers with total area of 540,000 SF.
The west tower is a 9-storey office building with a structural steel structure and composite floors. The tower is supported by three V-shaped columns at level 3 and a space truss system at the upper floors, which enables it to cantilever more than 20 meters beyond the V columns.
The west tower is 10-storeys high with a conventional concrete flat slab system and concrete columns and cores. The towers are connected to each other by a 6-storey high atrium spanning over Dockside Drive and four pedestrian bridges at levels 3 to 6.
This cutting-edge workplace represents the next evolution in commercial office development and will reinvent how employees work together in Toronto’s rapidly evolving creative and technology sectors – including advanced visualization and interactive digital media, film and TV production.
