The Client wanted to replace windows and sliding doors at the subject building with energy efficient system with a limited budget.

Surveyor’s Point, located at 111 Agnes Street in Mississauga, ON is a Senior’s apartment managed by the Region of Peel. The building envelope consists of continuous strips clad of metal panel and insulating glass system.

The windows are integral part of metal panels and cannot be replaced by themselves unless the entire system (metal panels and windows) are placed in conjunction.

Stephenson Engineering provided engineering services for replacement of just IGU’s (vision lite) not only within the budget provided but also decreased the energy consumption by caring out this project.
