The Kingston Frontenac Public Library was established in 1998. Located in Central Kingston and with approximately 33,000 square feet of space, Kingston Frontenac Public Library serves residents in its immediate areas due to its reference, research and administrative functions.

Kingston Frontenac Public Library, upon completion of the renovation project is anticipated to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver.

Stephenson Engineering scope of services included: provide sustainable construction plans, which include Construction waste management plan; verification of materials and the execution of work during construction as per the project’s LEED requirements; coordinate with Contractor and Consultants as required to ensure accuracy and completeness of LEED documentation; compilation and submission of the LEED application for certification to the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC)
