The building at 155 Gordon Baker is a 244,925 square foot office building. The existing parking garage at this property comprises of three (3) suspended post-tensioned concrete slabs. The post tension tendons are protected with sheathing and grease.
Scope of work included removal and replacement of distressed tendons identified during the garage survey; inspection of all tendons through existing inspection ports for any deficiencies; installation of a new grease at the dry tendons; and allowance for some waterproofing repairs on the top deck.
Stephenson Engineering Ltd. provided consulting engineering services including preparation of repair specifications and drawings, assistance with tendering and provision of contract administration services for the repair to the parking garage.
