1 University Ave. is located in downtown Toronto northwest of the intersection formed by York Street and Front Street West. Constructed circa 1985 and renovated in 1988, the building is 18-storey in height and contains approximately 258,883 square feet of gross area.

Construction of the building consists of conventionally reinforced concrete and is clad with a glazed curtainwall system.  Stephenson Engineering prepared the specifications and drawings for the replacement of the existing exterior sealant, assisted with tendering, and successfully completed field review and contract administration services during construction.
