We are excited to announce our latest partnership with Slate Asset Management at 1 St. Clair West.
The existing tower at 1 St. Clair West will be fully retained in the development of this exciting new 49 storey development.
The existing structure will be reinforced to take increased loading from the new tower above, and the old and new buildings will be linked at the existing roof level by a series of 2 level ring trusses.
Retaining the existing building intact will significantly reduce the embodied carbon of the new development and ensure the history of this iconic intersection is maintained.
Indoor amenity space is planned within these connecting levels, fully utilizing this transition space, and avoiding the need for heavy transfer slabs.
